 David Best, D.O., Medical Director
Dr. David Best received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Kalamazoo College and his Master of Science in Medical Science from Wayne State University. He attended medical school at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. Dr. David Best joined us in August, 2005 and practices at our Bellaire Family Health Center. Dr. Best was named Medical Director of the East Jordan, Bellaire, and Central Lake Family Health Centers in March, 2010. |

 Mitchell J. Carey, M.D.
Dr. Carey received his Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine Studies from Grand Valley State College and attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He is a certified Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice and has a special interest in Obstetrics. |

Sam received his Master Degree of Physician Assistant Studies from Central Michigan University. Sam earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Calvin College and is the recipient of numerous scholastic achievement awards. |

 Kathryn Frake, P.A. – C
Kathy received her Physician Assistant training at the University of California at Davis and a Master’s Degree from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine. Kathy has worked in infectious disease, family practice and emergency medicine and was an instructor for Central Michigan University’s Physician Assistant Program. |

 Jeanne Haberer, D.O.
Dr. Haberer received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from John Carroll University and attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has practiced in Colorado and Alaska. Dr. Haberer joined us in August, 2005 and sees patients at our Central Lake Family Health Center and the East Jordan Family Health Center. She has a special interest in Obstetrics. |

 Major Todd Kreykes, P.A. – C
Todd joined the U.S. Army's National Guard in 1984 where he completed the Army's Physician Assistant program. He received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska with a specialization in Emergency Medicine. Todd joined us in December, 2008 and sees patients at our Bellaire Family Health Center. |

 Leonhard Maendel, P.A. – C
Len attended Western Michigan University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Medicine and complete his Physician Assistant Rotations and Preceptorship for his Physician Assistant Certificate. His Master of Physician Assistant Studies was completed at the University of Nebraska. He is also a licensed Paramedic. Len joined the East Jordan Family Health Center in October, 1996. |
